Professional Russian road cyclist since 2010.
As a member of the Katyusha and ITERA-Katyusha teams, he repeatedly became the winner and prize-winner of prestigious road races. From 2007 to 2021, a member of the Russian cycling team.
Starting in 2010, he performed for the Russian continental team ITERA-Katyusha and made his debut at the international level with it, winning the La Côte Picard World Cup in France. In 2011, he won the Russian youth championship, became the silver medalist of the Coppa della Pace in Italy.
In 2012, Kuznetsov was the winner of La Roux Tourangel, won the opening stage of the Rond de l'Ois and the seventh stage of the Tour of Bulgaria, was second at the Ruot d'Oro, at the Miskolc Grand Prix, was third in the general classification "Circuit des Ardennes", in the one-day races "Grand Prix de Marbrière" and "Mayor's Cup".
From 2013 to 2019, he performed for the Katyusha World Tour team, which managed to achieve high results, including becoming 3rd in one of the most prestigious northern classics Gent-Wevelgem (2016). From 2020 to 2021, he cycled for the Gazprom-Rusvelo professional team.
